Nothing is more wonderful than the first baseball game of the season...unless it's WINNING the first game of the season! This is my 8th Opening Day as a Cardinals fan - I just love early April!!
Pujols homered twice, Rolen got a grand slam - which is great to see since he's coming off injury and surgery from last year.
Chris Carpenter did a great job as well - so it was a great day!

Rolen got a grand slam and I had him on the *bench* in my lineup....nutz! Cubs won convincingly today too: 16-7, despite a bad start by Zambrano...though I know you don't want to hear that the Cubs did well. ;-)
