Rainy Monday, Part 2
And then the rains came harder. And for some reason, when I walked to the kitchen for more ice, I went past the bay window instead of my usual other-side-of-the-table route. And felt the carpet squish.

oooh-- now you're hoping for a dry spell and a caulk gun. Hope you can save the carpet. I'm glad you found the problem.
Thank you - I'm glad to find it too! The carpet seems to be fine, but the bay window needs work. Turns out several things were not installed correctly. I've hired my nephew-in-law (building trades professional) to fix the problems. I just wish he'd been available when we did the original work. He's very good at it.
